Hey you guys from Uptown remember us the Rican Boys ? We were right on the corner of Wilson and malden there ...most of our guys got killed and the ones that were left went to the westside and turned into Cobras......my brother in law Baby C got killed by some Cobras on the northside , my other brother in laws Flaco, and Israel both have families now and have moved on......the rest of our boys had turned into Spanish Cobras.....its so cool to see this website you guys have put together........Buddah

You must remember The Private Pie? I hung out on that corner with the Uptown Rebels and S & M Gaylord.
I wasn't a LaryLord but hung out through-out that neighborhood in the late 70s to early 80s.
We had problems with the blacks in the building across the street from the private Pie and the Latin Kings on Montrose and Paulina but I can not recall any Rican Boys in that area.
stories about palmer street where to start. the night lil mike got his head cracked open over his sweater or the night sonny was killed stabbed over nothing or the night Frankies brother was shot and killed because someone mistook him for Frankie he was killed on his 18th birthdate his name was Mikie. Then i could tell you the funny stories. going back many many years.
